Great food, awesome atmosphere. Gpod old fashioned drive in. Love their cruise nights. I think it would be cool if they would put their waitresses on roller skates. Other than that the place is awesome.

WAY OVER PRICED. The root beer tastes extremely watered down, and the chilli on the chilli dogs had big chunks of tomatoes in it. Certainly not what I was expecting. Definitely will not be going back.

They have classic car gatherings on thursday evenings, my nephew loved that. The food is always great! They only accept cash, which we forget every time we go. Great friendly place!

Their burgers are made to order of course; add what ever condiments you want.Thursdays they have a small, but nice car show, which has some awesome classic cars to look at, dating back to 60's & earlier & dating up thru the 70's. Staff is always polite, and they've never gotten my order wrong.Outside tables are always kept clean. Food is very good.. I can't wait to get up there food lunch this year. I have been housebound for the last 6 weeks, but when my son drove past it was still closed, and I believe it'sFor Sale. I sure hope not, or someone with a ❤️ in the 60's buys it. Love coming to this small cute drive in every year! Has to be one of my favorite parts about the summer. Great food. Would definitely recommend the root bear floats of course but also the hot dogs!

Steakburger, chili cheeseburger w/onions, fries and a large rootbeer.What more could you ask for here..everything made to order and piping hot...ice cold rootbeer. We have been eating at the Ace Drive-in all our lives ...we are 81 & 71 respectively and my husband was a carhop there when he was a teenager. It's good when some places never change...and Ace is one of them ♥️

So expensive but love it. Never experience anything like it and service was great. The best root beer i ever tasted.

I always stop by purchasing some food in here. I loved the rapid customer service and well made dishes. Never disappointing.

Good food, though the portions were relatively small. Friendly service. "Cash only" was a surprise. Good thing I had cash on me. Would probably return if in the area, but wouldn't "plan" a trip there.

Nostalgic place! Really good sandwiches every time I've gone. The turkey BLT is very good. Of course you have to have a frosty mug of root beer along with it. Service was excellent.

Food was not great. Root beer in the black cow tasted flat. The lemonade tasted like the powder mix from a grocery store. I ended up throwing it away after a few sips. Our server was lovely and nice, but it was expensive for subpar food and drinks.

Great hoagies

A staple of the Joliet dining scene, ace drive in is the go to place for a quick sandwich during lunch. They have amazing food and desserts. My favorite item on the menu is the bbq beef sandwich on French bread. They also have the best fries around! Hopefully the food will remain the same after it sells.

I love this place. My home town. I wish there is one here in Horry County South Carolina were I live now.

It seems to not be as friendly as it used to be but still a great stop if your in the area.

Large parking lot. It's a drive-in, you sit in your car place your order, and they bring out your food to the car. If you don't like eating in your car they have 10 picnic tables with waitresses. Home made frosty mugs of root beer! Hot dogs and burgers and onion rings and fries. Friendly waitresses. Good food!

This is my Favorite place to go for lunch. I bring a book to read and enjoy the Best cheeseburger and fries, not to mention the Root Beer served in a frosted glass. All is served by car hops who are so friendly. I just love this place!

Been going there for 50 years love it every time I go. And what's even better is my father went there.

Too expensive for basic bar food. Milk shakes are not worth it. Root beer is ok but not worth 3x the price . Wait staff was quite polite, but i felt rude having to honk my horn for their attention when there was only 1 other car there.
